In addition, Darrell mentioned Benni and Scoop, yes both have dropped a mixtape, but together. They have teamed up along with the entire N.E.R.D. band and have formed the group name KONTRABAND215. Super Star Music
Super Star Music is a collaboration of musicians, producer and songwriters. This group of highly talented individuals have toured, produced and wrote for some of the industries A-list artists.
To kick things off you have James Darrell Robinson aka Lil Darrell who is the producer of all the tracks on the mixtape. Darrell has shared the stage as the drummer for many artists. Presently he is the Music Director and drummer for N.E.R.D. also Island Def Jam new artist Cris Cab.
Next we have Justin “Scoop” Robinson who is the younger brother of Lil Darrell. Scoop is an upcoming smooth flowing rap artist who released his first Youtube Video “I Hustle” back in the summer. Along with Scoop and Lil Darrell you throw a cousin in the mix Benni Basil and you have a hard hitting team with powerful lyrics and unforgettable beats that sure to make hits. Benni “First Day Home” track is intense it keeps you waiting to hear what happened next. It’s been said by listeners “it plays like a short film”.
